Each patient's experience at our practice is important to us. As we strive to provide the highest level of care, we value feedback on all aspects of the patient experience. This MedicalGPS patient experience survey measures patient satisfaction from the time the appointment was made to the time the patient spent with the provider.
- Visit Preparation: Measures how courteous, respectful and friendly the clinical staff was during the patient's visit.
- Provider Listened: Measures how carefully the provider listens to the needs of each and every patient.
- Office Wait Time: Measures how satisfied the patient was with wait time during their visit.
- Patient Recommendation: Measures how likely the patient is to recommend this practice to family and friends.

Donald “Pete” Carter specializes in adult and pediatric otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, disorders of the ear, nose and throat. He received his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and performed his internship and residency in general surgery at M.S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He then moved to Colorado to finish his residency in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver.
Dr. Carter is Board Certified in the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He served as Chairman of the Otolaryngology Services department at Porter Hospital and has won two awards: the American Heart Association research Award and the American Academy of Otolaryngology Basic Science Research Award.
Dr. Carter, whose father nicknamed him Pete as a child, has practiced in the Denver area for more than 30 years and. He is an expert in both adult and pediatric ear, nose and throat conditions as well as head and neck cancer, sleep disorders, nasal and sinus disorders.
Outside of the office, Dr. Carter is an avid golfer and enjoys golfing vacations along with his wife and visiting his daughters.
